“Women Up” and the contemporary investigation of feminism at the Galleria Nazionale di Arte Moderna in Rome.

This paper addresses the strategies and forms used by curators and institutions to address contemporary feminism concerns and the effect these strategies and conditions produce on the visitor’s behalf. The research focuses on the Galleria Nazionale di Arte Moderna in Rome and how the space addressed modern feminism within its collections, projects, and exhibitions.

The paper was written and submitted during my first year of university in May 2021.
